WTTAG--Transition of Power

After surviving months of the political process, continued segmentation of the American people is now futile. If we have faith in democracy, the next several years must be committed to building a more vibrant nation. The dedication invested to elect new leaders (or defeat the opposition) must be sustained in order to advance. No longer are we afforded the luxury of supporting one candidate in a broad spectrum of ideologies. The freedom to participate in public elections requires acceptance and respect for the victor. It’s the American way.

When To Trust Another Guardian

Our elected officials are required to “protect and defend” our way of life. Our neighbors, colleagues and family have—by majority vote—chosen a new guardian for our traditions, values, resources, and welfare. Compromise of our beliefs is never required, but an initial trust and cooperation will allow our nation to determine our next course of action. Although leaders guard, we—the people—must remain active to insure that our trust is never misplaced or betrayed.
